AI works like a moving memory – it can only "remember" a certain amount at one time using what are called tokens. As new information comes in, old information drops out. Suddenly it has AI dementia, forgetting what you said earlier and forcing you to repeat yourself. We find a strikingly similar pattern in Scripture. In Judges, Israel suffers, calls on God, receives a deliverer, enjoys peace, then drifts back into sin – and the cycle begins again. Sin, suffering, supplication, salvation, repeat. But this cycle isn't confined to Judges; it's the story of the entire Bible. Like the AI, we forget what God has told us and what happened to those who went before us. Yet we don't have to keep living in sin-suffering dementia. "For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope." (Romans 15:4). The record is there – every warning, every rescue, every consequence – so we don't run out of tokens and repeat the same tragic loop. So listen, learn, live. (Craig B). Open Bible – bit.ly/Rom15v4
