We live in a world where everyone is in a hurry. In a hurry to get ready for work. In a hurry to get through the early morning traffic. In a hurry for the work day to end. In a hurry to eat. In a hurry for the weekend. How much of your week do you spend quietly? How much of your time is spent seeking God? It’s almost as if we just don’t have enough time to be quiet or to enjoy a conversation with God. But God offers us a wonderful promise if we choose to be quiet and seek Him every day. “The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD” (Lamentations 3:25-26).
