Nothing! Absolutely nothing! It’s wonderful! That’s how it feels in moments when we can sit in a quiet, secluded place immersed in nature. No one to be seen, just God’s majestic canvas painted in awesome wonder all around us. Before me, he paints the waves in hues of deep blue, dabbing their tops with frothy white. Around me, the gentle strokes of his breeze dance as they caress me. Above me, his warm sun casts its golden touch upon his new masterpiece. What a gift to not just see but live within God’s divine canvas. Everything! Absolutely everything is full. My senses. My awe. My heart. It’s a divine moment in His presence. Whatever your circumstances, wherever you are, God’s real and living presence can be experienced. Today, take a moment. Find a quiet place where you can experience God’s masterpiece. Look up at the night sky. Watch the waves. Look closely at a flower. Breath in the wonder of his handiwork and rejoice in the gift of life, and know that what you see, what you feel, is a promise of what God wants to do for you. Everything. Absolutely Everything. It’s wonderful. “For since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse” (Romans 1:20).
