Right with God

Right with God

If someone asked you how to become a successful tennis player like Roger Federer, what would you say? You would likely say that success only comes through hard work, studying the best techniques, perseverance, and lots of coaching and practice. So, if someone asked you how to become righteous like Jesus, Many would answer with the same approaches. Study the Bible so you can learn how to behave. Try hard to keep all God’s laws. Follow all the best practices by attending church and helping the needy. Yet, despite this advice, we all fail dismally. Every day we succumb to temptations and sins we do not want to do. Just like the Jews felt cursed when trying to keep all the works of the law so too do we by all our failures. “For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the law’” (Galatians 3:10). So then, how can we achieve the goal of becoming right with God? “We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.” (Romans 3:22). Today, stop trying harder to become like Jesus. Instead, put your faith in Jesus to make you more like him. Allow him into your life and experience the transformation. Open Bible – http://bit.ly/Rom3v22, http://bit.ly/Gal3v10 (Nicky B).
