While visiting a monastery in France, I bought a bracelet engraved with the words amour, joie, partage, paix. With zero French knowledge, I quickly looked up the meaning: love, joy, sharing, and peace. Love, joy, and peace, are the opening fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22), and so this simple bracelet became a beautiful daily reminder. One day, feeling a bit anxious, I glanced at my wrist and saw the word paix (peace) facing me—and just like that, I felt God’s calming presence. Now, whenever I look down, I see which fruit God might want me to focus on—joy in the ordinary, peace in the storm, love for someone hard to love, or a call to share. It reminded me of God’s instruction to the Israelites about his commands: “Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders” (Deuteronomy 6:8). In its own way, this bracelet has become that—tied to my wrist, reminding me daily that God is near and His Spirit is at work in me. What small reminder could help you today? Let your eyes be open to God’s whispers and your heart ready to respond. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/gal5v22, https://bit.ly/Deu6v4-8 (Craig B)
