Prayer is not a transaction — it is a relationship. Too often we approach God with a list of requests, a quick thank-you, and a rushed amen, treating the Creator of the universe like a divine vending machine. But Jesus has something far richer in mind. He invites us not merely to speak at God, but to walk with Him. Scripture tells us that great men of faith like Enoch and Noah were described as people who walked with God, and at the heart of that kind of intimacy is exactly what Moses experienced: "The LORD would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend." (Exodus 33:11) That is the kind of relationship God desires with each of us. When Jesus taught His disciples to pray in Matthew 6, He wasn't simply giving them a formula — He was extending an invitation into a secret, sacred place of divine communion. He described shutting the door, entering a closet, meeting the Father in secret. This is not merely a physical place but a spiritual reality — a place where real, life-changing encounters happen. God doesn't want a distant, transactional relationship. He wants conversation, presence, and genuine friendship. When you pray, don't just recite a list. Enter in. Meet Him face to face. Walk with God. (Craig B). Open Bible – bit.ly/exo33v11, bit.ly/MATTH6
