In this uncertain world, it’s such a blessing to know that fear doesn’t have to lead us into a scarcity mindset. When we surrender and trust, we discover that our Father is our strength and abundance. Gideon’s story is such a powerful reminder. The enemy had abundance in numbers and fear in their hearts. Gideon had very little, yet God gave him what he needed to believe—an encouraging companion, a dream overheard, and a vision of victory. Trust in God is contagious—so much so that 300 unarmed men courageously faced a vast army. Fear spread through the enemy’s camp like wildfire—sparked by just one dream. It reminds us how quickly fear can turn people against each other, just as we see today: neighbour against neighbour, truth questioned, and trust scarce. But we know the One who is Truth—our Friend, Saviour, and King. What can we do? We hold high the torch of light and the trumpet of salvation. We remember God’s words spoken over us, and we move forward not in fear, but in faith. “And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19. May we live in that abundance, even when the world says we shouldn’t. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/phi4v19 (Kim B)
