Jesus’ Highest Praise Might Surprise You

We all love receiving positive feedback – whether it is a meal you made, a goal reached, or a hurdle overcome. There is nothing nicer than positive affirmation. But how much more encouraged would you feel if the one saying "well done" wasn't just a friend or family member, but Jesus. Imagine Jesus looking at you and saying "Well done". In one of his parables, Jesus tells a story about him doing exactly this when he returns. He says "Well done, good and faithful leader/pastor/influencer/entrepreneur…." Isn't that amazing – the highest accolade possible for our achievements! Yet, this is not what he says. What he says is: "Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!" (Matthew 25:23). While we can achieve many things in life, and there is nothing wrong with success, our worth in God's eyes does not come from these things. We are called – whether we are a CEO or celebrity – to service. "Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all." (Mark 10:43-44). In Jesus' sight, this is the greatest "Well done" of all. Who will you serve today? (Craig B). Open Bible – bit.ly/Mat25v23, bit.ly/Mar10v43-44
