Have you experienced being “blue ticked”? It’s when you send someone a message on WhatsApp, and it gets two blue ticks that indicate it has been delivered and read, but there is no reply. It can be really frustrating if you are waiting for an answer. It feels like the person is simply ignoring you or doesn’t seem to think it is necessary to reply. In life, we may sometimes feel like we are being “blue-ticked” by God. We pray for guidance or help; we know He has heard us, but we don’t seem to receive a reply. David felt like this when he said, “How long, LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?…Look on me and answer, LORD my God.” (Psalms 13:1,3). However, unlike humans who might simply ignore our messages or answer when it’s convenient, God never ignores our requests. He will answer us, not when it’s convenient for him, but when it’s right for us. As David ends his prayer to God, he says, “But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing the LORD’s praise, for he has been good to me.” (Psalms 13:5-6). God has been and always will be good to you. Trust Him, and he will reply. Open Bible – http://bit.ly/PSALM13
