Vegetables or meat? Blue or Yellow? North or south? Jazz or Rock. Choices. We all have to make choices in life. Some choices are not too important, while others can have life-altering implications. “As for me and my family, we will choose the Lord” (Joshua 24:15). Joshua made this choice, a choice that would impact the life and trajectory of himself and his family. He explicitly chose to follow God – to have God as his guide and family head. And, then he declared his choice so all would know. If you make an explicit choice to serve God, to let him lead you and your family, you will discover a new life, a new direction unparalleled to anything else. Then, all other choices, small or great, will be under his care. Today, what will you choose? “As for me and my family, we will choose…”
