There’s a story about four friends of a paralyzed man who wanted to bring him to Jesus for healing. But the crowd around Jesus was so large, they couldn’t get through. Undeterred, they carried him onto the roof of the house where Jesus was teaching, dug a hole through it, and lowered the man down in front of Jesus. They were willing to risk embarrassment, damage, and the anger of the homeowner, just to get their friend to Jesus. Then we read, “When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, ‘Son, your sins are forgiven.’” (Mark 2:5). And the man was healed. What strikes me are these five words: When Jesus saw their faith. It was the faith of the friends that moved Jesus. Their determined, loving resolve made the difference. And so it is with us. Our faith, our prayers, and our commitment to bring our loved ones before Jesus can have powerful results. Who will you carry to Jesus today in prayer? Your faith could be the very thing that changes their life. (Craig B) Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Mar2v1-12
