At a crossroads?

At a crossroads?

Are you at a crossroads? Life often brings us to a place where we must make a big choice. But how we choose matters just as much as what we choose. Do we collect facts? Ask friends? Turn to Google or ChatGPT? These can help—but God gives us a better way. “Stop at the crossroads and look around. Ask for the old, godly way, and walk in it. Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Jeremiah 6:16). God outlines four steps. First, stop. Don’t rush. Take time to reflect. Second, look. Examine your path. Don’t blindly follow the crowd. Third, ask—not just anyone, but ask for the “old, godly way.” The word used here is olam—meaning ancient, eternal, hidden. Seek God’s way, not just good advice. And fourth, walk. Don’t delay. Follow through. This pattern—stop, look, ask God, walk—leads to rest for your soul. Real peace doesn’t come from endless opinions or overthinking. It comes from choosing God’s path and walking it. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Jer6v16 (Craig B)
