Do you ever have those days when everything seems to go wrong? It feels like bad things come in threes, and you’re just waiting for the next one to hit. That happened to me recently, and I felt completely overwhelmed. But just a couple of days later, everything that had been stressing me out resolved itself—within the same hour. It truly felt like a God moment, an answer to prayer, and I immediately thanked Him. Then I came across 1 Thessalonians 5:18—“Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” That verse struck me. I had only thanked God once my problems were fixed. It never crossed my mind to thank Him during the struggles. Yet, God calls us to be thankful in all things because He is always at work in our lives, even when we can’t see it.
