Just one

Just one

At the start of this year, we decided to add strength and flexibility exercises to our daily routine. Some exercises felt impossible, but my husband encouraged me to start with just one and increase gradually. What once seemed impossible became possible. It’s the power of one. Maybe you’ve stopped reading God’s Word or praying and find it hard to reconnect with Him. Just start—read one chapter a day or say one prayer each morning. It’s the power of one. One action changed the destiny of all humanity on the hill of Calvary. “So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him” (Hebrews 9:28). One decision, one positive change, one prayer, one chapter, one call, one act of kindness each day has the power to change your life or the life of someone else forever.
