Every morning, I have a standup meeting with my work team. We have to say how we are feeling physically, mentally and emotionally. So, every morning, I talk about the run I did the day before or the run that I am going to do that afternoon. Light beams from my eyes as I talk about running, and my coworkers have come to believe I am a professional runner (I am not – I just love running). My boss doesn’t exercise anymore; he has his reasons, but as the days rolled by, I could see the desire to run working its way in him. A few days ago, he told me he went for a run. He said he was influenced by me and felt inspired to run again. That really stuck with me. I never told him to run, but he could see the positive influence it had on my life. I thought to myself, wow, if my running could get someone fit, imagine if I truly showed and beamed my love for God. I could lead someone to eternal life. In Matthew 5:16, we read, ”In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.“ We are ambassadors of Christ. What an honour and a privilege we have. So, let us live a life that reflects his life. We will never change a heart through debating and judging, but we will by being beacons of light for Christ every day in all that we do. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Mat5v16 (Kayla G)
