One of the most useful apps on my phone is the “Find My” app. This allows me to find my watch, computers, and even family. I can even send an alert that will ring on the device. However, it only works if the device you are looking for is paired with your phone. Although sometimes, even if it is paired, it says “No location found”. What would be much better is if there was a “Find My God” app. An app that we could use whenever we needed God’s help – whenever we are lost. Immediately we could send an alert to him and see how far away he is. The good news is that there is an app like this. It’s called prayer. No download is needed. “The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.” (Psalms 145:18). The best part of this app is it will never say “No Location found”. God is always available and always near. However, the prayer app needs to be paired to work, and faith makes the connection (Hebrews 11:6). It’s when we believe that we can seek God in truth that he will be found. Connect with God and get access to the most powerful help imaginable.
