God’s free gift

Have you ever tried to figure God out using just your own logic? It feels exhausting because human intellect can only take us so far. In 1 Corinthians 2, Paul reminds us that relying on human wisdom actually traps our faith in human limitations, rather than anchoring it in God's power (1 Corinthians 2:5). Here is the honest truth: without God's Spirit, the amazing things God wants to give us just look like foolishness to the world (1 Corinthians 2:14). Grace cannot be grasped by human intellect alone. It is a gift that requires a spiritual shift. That shift happens the moment we receive the Spirit which is of God, opening our eyes to the incredible things God has freely given us (1 Corinthians 2:12). This is where the real secret to living a holy life comes in. It is not about you trying harder or mastering a set of religious rules. True godliness is simply “Christ in you, the hope of glory” Colossians 1:27). Through His divine power, God has already handed you every single tool you need to live a life that honours Him (2 Peter 1:3). You do not have to generate the strength on your own.
