Wedding Week

Wedding Week

With marriages today, it’s common to have two ceremonies: one for the legal side and another for the celebration with God, friends, and family. This often means a couple is “married” before their actual wedding day, sometimes with days in between. This was the case with my fiancé and me, leading to a “wedding week.” Interestingly, this mirrors the traditional Jewish custom, where wedding celebrations lasted seven days, culminating in the wedding supper. Revelation 19:9 mentions this idea: “Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” We are grateful for everyone who celebrated with us, but the good news is even better—we’ve all been invited to Jesus’ wedding supper. This will be the ultimate celebration of love and unity for eternity. What a week, what an eternity, that will be. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Rev19v9 (Jean-Luc H)
