I recently stayed at a picturesque cottage, which had breathtaking views of the ocean. While I was relaxing on the deck, admiring the scenery, a pod of dolphins gracefully swam by. My boyfriend quickly launched his drone, providing us with an extraordinary aerial view of the dolphins, allowing us to witness their beauty in great detail. This unique perspective made me ponder how God must see the world with an all-encompassing view of our past, present, and future. We often get caught up in our one-dimensional, time-locked perspective of our lives. But God’s perspective is vast and profound. In Jeremiah 29:11, we read, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” When life becomes overwhelming, and your plans seem to fall apart, take comfort in knowing that God sees beyond your today, beyond your yesterday, to your tomorrow.
