One of my great pleasures is going for a cycle on an electric bike, especially along quiet country lanes past beautiful fields and trees. Thanks to the power-assisted pedalling, I can enjoy the scenery instead of gasping for air or dealing with muscle pain. But while everyone riding with me was cruising along smiling, I was not experiencing the same joy. My e-bike had an issue—its power assistance kept turning on and off, making it hard to ride, especially uphill. The difference was clear: they had power, I had pain. We are all “cycling” on life’s journey, and we all have a choice about how we ride. Some choose to go it alone, relying only on themselves and struggling endlessly. Others know God can empower their lives, but only connect with Him occasionally. This too leads to struggle. But God offers something better—a constant, unfailing source of help. He wants to empower your journey with peace and joy, not frustration and strain. Don’t live disconnected. Rely on Him daily, and you’ll feel the difference. “He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.” (Isaiah 40:29). Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Isa40v29 (Craig B)
