Wander with purpose

Wander with purpose

“Wandering” is defined as travelling aimlessly from place to place, but in regard to faith it is anything but that. The story of Jesus wandering through the wilderness is quite a well-known one; however, this definition would see it as a pointless act. Luke 4:1-2 tells us, “Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, left the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, where for forty days he was tempted.” This was not random. It was a deliberate act by the Spirit to prepare Jesus for His ministry. During this time, He didn’t simply walk around aimlessly—He fasted for 40 days and 40 nights and resisted temptation. With this in mind, I encourage you to set aside time to “wander” in Jesus’ way. Confront the difficult areas of your life—the ones you avoid. Let this time of spiritual wandering refine and strengthen your faith. Jesus showed us that the wilderness is not a place of weakness, but of preparation. And when you return, you’ll be more ready for what God has in store for you. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Luk4v1-2 (Jean-Luc H)
