Will he find faith?

Will he find faith?

“When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8). These are sobering words of Jesus. We live in a world where many are sadly forsaking God. Israel did the same after inheriting the promised land. “They forsook the LORD, the God of their ancestors, who had brought them out of Egypt. They followed and worshiped various gods of the peoples around them” (Judges 2:12). Today, our idols may be more sophisticated—money, power, reputation, appearance, knowledge. Even good things can become idols. An idol is simply anything we elevate above the Lord. So how do we remain steadfast? We fix our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and devote ourselves “to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers” (Acts 2:42). If we do this, we will one day hear the beautiful words of Jesus: “Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’” (Matthew 25:23). Will you be faithful? Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Jud2v12, https://bit.ly/Heb12v1-2, https://bit.ly/act2v42, https://bit.ly/Mat25v23 (Nicky B)
