Thank You. Two words we all love to hear, yet how often do we say it? Gratitude is not only one of the most beautiful attributes we can have, it’s also one of the most calming and restoring. While most of us can be thankful for good things and in good times, gratitude is most powerful when used for all things, all the time. When life is not going as we want it, then we most need to be grateful. It’s then we need to pause and pray and give thanks for what we have been given, for what we still have, and most of all, for a God who will never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). It’s when we feel down, when we feel life is against us, that we must look up and give thanks. As Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 – “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” Rejoicing always is possible if our unceasing prayer is giving thanks in everything – in the good times and the bad, in want and abundance. Today make a list of what you are thankful for – God, your friends, family, health, home, food, nature, beauty, challenges, experiences, and opportunities – both past and present. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You Lord. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/1th5v16-18, https://bit.ly/Share2Friends
