The first kiss of newlyweds. A newborn child held by parents. Spring blossoms on a tree. There is something special about beginnings. Beginnings are about hope and a future. Beginnings are about life and potential. However, beginnings can also be about despair, fear, loss, and regret. What makes the difference is not how we start, as this may be outside our control but who we start with. Before us stretches a new year. Whether it is a beginning of hope and potential or despair and fear depends on whom we choose to start with. “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction” (Proverbs 1:7). God offers us two starting points for our year – without Him or with Him. Choosing to walk our year without him – “The waywardness of the simple will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them” (Proverbs 1:32). Choosing to walk our year with him – “Whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.” (Proverbs 1:33). Choose God from the start! 🌱Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Pro1-7, https://bit.ly/pro1v32, https://bit.ly/pro1v33
