Artificial intelligence has opened the floodgates of knowledge. In seconds, we can access answers once hidden across generations. Like the people at Babel, humanity now shares a kind of common language, an interconnected stream of thought shaped by technology. “Nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them” (Genesis 11:6). Yet the question remains: what spirit guides this knowledge? The danger is not knowledge itself, but knowledge without God. When we seek answers apart from Him, the heart can quietly shift, trusting human wisdom above divine truth. Instead of trusting the Lord with all our heart, we begin to lean on our own understanding. So how do we discern the voice of God from the voice of man? James teaches that there are two kinds of wisdom. Earthly wisdom is driven by envy and self-seeking, producing disorder (James 3:14–16). But wisdom from above is pure, peace-loving, gentle, and full of mercy (James 3:17). Jesus said, “My sheep listen to my voice” (John 10:27). His voice always aligns with truth and brings peace. When you seek understanding, pause and listen beyond the noise. Test what you hear. God’s voice reveals His character and will always lead you into peace (James 3:18). (Nicky B).
