God promises that His Word will be "a lamp for my feet, a light on my path" (Psalm 119:105). Yet many believers know the experience of opening the Bible and feeling overwhelmed, distracted, or unsure of what it means. Too often, these life-giving words remain closed while our hearts search elsewhere for direction and peace. But our Heavenly Father never intended us to walk alone or struggle without help. He desires to be intimately involved in every part of our lives, including our understanding of Scripture. James reminds us with great comfort: "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all" (James 1:5). God is not reluctant to guide us; He delights in teaching His children. Jesus also promised the gift of the Holy Spirit: "But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you." – John 14:26 (NIV). Through Christ, we are not left spiritually abandoned. His Spirit gently opens our hearts, reminds us of truth, and leads us into deeper understanding. The Bible is far more than words on a page. It is God's living Word, inviting us into an everlasting relationship with our Heavenly Father and His precious Son, Jesus Christ, who lovingly guides our path each day. (Nicky B).
