Theatre of God

Theatre of God

We were sitting in a hide beside a beautiful waterhole in the Kruger. The scene in front of us was mesmerising. A massive pod of hippos was wallowing in the water. Up in a tree, a majestic fish eagle was calling for his mate. Half a dozen crocodiles were lazing on the water’s edge. A giant heron poked its beak into the soft mud, looking for food. It felt as if we were enjoying a giant theatre in real life. God’s Theatre. We were watching a scene from how Eden when God first created the earth. Majestic. Beautiful. Bursting with beauty and life. Untouched by humankind. In Psalms, we read, “May the glory of the LORD continue forever! The LORD takes pleasure in all he has made!” (Psalms 104:31). What a joy, blessing and privilege it is to take time each day to go out into God’s beautiful creation and take pleasure in all He has made. From a small flower to a majestic mountain, these are God’s gifts for us. Take a moment today to appreciate the wonder of God’s creation. Open Bible – http://bit.ly/Psa104v31 ;Nicky B)
