Resurrection day

Resurrection day

The sun appears. Light spills over the hill washing the darkness from the valley. The new morning air wafting above the grass like a bride’s silky veil. Dew drops hang like diamonds on her crown, sparkling rainbows of light in a dance of anticipation—the first day of a new week. Heads bowed, hearts torn, hope crushed, they make their way to his tomb. Who can roll away this stone so large? This burden so crushing. This immovable sorrow. Looking up, the stone is gone. The tomb is open. The grave is empty. Two angels appear. Light spills over the women, washing the darkness from the world. New life wafting above their despair like a bridegroom’s loving smile. “Why do you look for the living among the dead?” (Luke 24:5). Tears drop like diamonds of joy, sparkling rainbows of love in a dance of anticipation. “He is not here. He has risen.” (Luke 24:6). Heaven’s choir sings. Death is destroyed, the grave ripped of its power, the King lives. “I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever“ (Revelation 1:18). Light and love explode across time and space, washing the darkness from our valleys. His divine love wafting across time like a groom’s vow of promise. Hope’s words hang like promises on his lips, sparkling celebrations of joy in our dance of deliverance. “He has risen.” Open Bible – http://bit.ly/luk24v5-6, https://bit.ly/rev1v18
