Little by little

Little by little

Running cadence is the amount of steps you take per minute. Research shows that a higher cadence reduces impact, decreases injury risk, all while preserving energy. It’s the concept of little by little. In life, we often want to take big strides, quick success and shortcuts. But, the real change is in small, consistent movements forward. Take diet, for example; when we see someone drastically change their diet to lose weight, we know that it isn’t sustainable, but making small healthy choices, little by little, is. The same goes for “get rich quick” schemes. Did you know that 70% of lotto winners lose or spend all their money in less than five years? In Exodus 23:30, we read, “Little by little I will drive them out before you until you have increased enough to take possession of the land.” A close relationship with God doesn’t come from sporadic acts of faith. It’s consistency that brings intimacy. God wants to walk with us every day for us to draw near to him little by little. It’s in the consistent small acts that we develop a closer relationship with God and grow stronger in our faith. Your resolutions don’t need to be extreme. Just show up and keep moving forward little by little and you will be amazed how God can work in your life. Open Bible – http://bit.ly/Exo23v20 (Kayla G)
