Sometimes we find ourselves in the waiting room of life – the place where answers haven’t arrived, where time seems to stand still, and where anxiousness and suffering stretch slowly. In this place, we cry out to God with countless questions, yet the silence of no answers stretches before us. David was in this place: “O Lord, how long will you forget me? Forever? How long will you look the other way? How long must I struggle with anguish in my soul, with sorrow in my heart every day? How long will my enemy have the upper hand? Turn and answer me, O Lord my God! Restore the sparkle to my eyes, or I will die” (Psalm 13:1-3). So many questions left unanswered. But how did David deal with this waiting room of faith? “But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. I will sing to the Lord because he is good to me” (Psalm 13:5-6). He praises. He rejoices. He knows that in eternity, he is already rescued. He declares that God is good. Whatever you are facing, know that God is good. He is the answer. (Craig B) Open Bible – bit.ly/Psa13v1-6
