The pool is a dark ochre red as we reach the waterfall at the end of our walk. We are hot, and a dip in the cool water would be amazing. However, the dark, ominous-looking water conceals what lurks below. However, for us, the refreshing invitation is greater than the fear of the unknown, and soon, we are enjoying the most amazing swim in nature’s pool. Stepping into the unknown is something we are often faced with in life and something many avoid. Yet choosing to forgo an opportunity may mean missing out on something amazing. Defining faith, the writer of Hebrews says, “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” (Hebrews 11:1). Faith is about stepping into the unseen. And when it comes to God, it’s the unseen that holds the greatest reward. “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18). Today, let God direct your path, even if the unseen seems scary. Step forward in faith. Open Bible – http://bit.ly/Heb11v1, https://bit.ly/2co4v18
