God Said, Come In

God Said, Come In

When life seems to be going wrong, when wherever you look you see troubles on every side, what do you do? David had one place he wanted to go. "The one thing I ask of the Lord- the thing I seek most- is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord's perfections and meditating in his Temple." (Psalms 27:4). He wanted to hide in God's presence. To immerse himself totally in God's goodness, peace, and love. And what was God's response to his desperate need? "My heart has heard you say, 'Come and talk with me.' And my heart responds, 'Lord, I am coming.'" (Psalms 27:8). God invites him in to be with Him and talk. It's a scene of being invited into God's home, to sit comfortably in His presence, warm, secure, at peace, and enjoy the most intimate and wonderful of conversations. The same invitation is available to us – "Come and talk with me." God wants us to enter His eternal home, beyond all fears and issues of this world, and sit down with Him. What an incredible offer. All that remains is our response – "Lord, I am coming.". (Craig B). Open Bible – bit.ly/Psa27v4, bit.ly/Psa27v8
