Reading Romans 15, I was struck by the beautiful promises our Heavenly Father longs to give His children. These are not distant hopes but present gifts for all who belong to Him. Paul writes, "May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had" (Romans 15:5). When life's journey becomes difficult, God does not leave us to persevere alone, He supplies endurance for the race and encouragement for the weary heart. He continues, "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit" (Romans 15:13). As we trust in Him, He fills us with joy, peace, and a hope that overflows into every part of our lives. Paul also reminds us that we have been "sanctified by the Holy Spirit" (Romans 15:16), set apart for God's purposes and transformed into the likeness of Christ. Finally, he blesses the believers, "The God of peace be with you all" (Romans 15:33). What an incredible Father we worship! He provides everything His children need – endurance, encouragement, joy, peace, hope, holiness, and His abiding presence. May our lives increasingly reflect His beautiful character to a world longing to know Him. (Nicky B). Open Bible – bit.ly/Roman15, bit.ly/Rom15v5, bit.ly/Rom15v13, bit.ly/Rom15v16, bit.ly/Rom15v33
