His star

His star

In a distant land, the wise men saw the news. They came seeking the one born king of the Jews. “We saw his star, making all others seem dim. We have come to bow and worship him. For the prophet said in Bethlehem of Judah, Will be born the one who will become ruler. He’ll shepherd God’s people, faithful and true, And bring light to the world through all He’ll do.” They followed the light as the star went ahead. Filled with joy in the hope of all God had said. While shepherds watched their flocks at night, An angel appeared, and God’s glory shone bright. In a voice divine, they heard the loud call, “Do not be afraid, good news I bring, great joy for all. Today in David’s town, a Saviour has come, He is the Messiah, God’s only Son.”Suddenly, a great heavenly host appeared, God’s choir rang out as the angels cheered. “Glory to God in highest heaven, Peace on earth, His favour is given.” “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing.
