Levi, Prada, Nike, Gucci. Brands and labels are very powerful. Many people are prepared to spend a lot of money to buy these brands or get the right to be associated with them. These brands make us think we will be admired by others. Yet besides an illusion of admiration, there is little more an association with brands provides us. However, God is offering you the right to be associated with His brand, at no cost. “To all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.” (John 1:12). What a privilege. And as God’s children you don’t only get rebranded, you are reborn to experience life in a totally new and divine way. “They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.” (John 1:13). Choose today to accept God’s brand and become brand new.
