Wow

Wow

Our sweet grandson has just turned one, and he has brought such joy and love into our lives. Each day he discovers something new, and one of his favourite words is “wow.” When the curtain opens in the morning, when he sees the ocean or the mountains, or even something unfamiliar, he says it again, “wow.” It’s pure, unfiltered wonder, and it gently pulls you out of routine and reminds you to see the world with fresh eyes. It makes me wonder if this is how our Heavenly Father wants His children to live, awake to beauty, attentive to His creation, and full of quiet amazement. We read in Psalm 118:24, “This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” This is more than a verse, it is an invitation to notice, pause, and receive the day as a gift rather than rush past it. Perhaps joy is not something we chase, but something we choose to see. Today, may we open our eyes again, and may our hearts, like a child’s, quietly say, “wow.” (Nicky B) Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Psa118v24
