Most people love stories. They capture our attention and imagination. The most powerful stories are true stories, they can truly inspire. For those who belong to Jesus, we should be full of Kingdom stories, real experiences where God has worked powerfully in our lives. When Jesus healed a madman who lived in a graveyard, his life was dramatically changed. Jesus told him, “Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” (Mark 5:19). And he went home and shared his Kingdom story: “So the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed.” (Mark 5:20). All who come to Jesus have incredible encounters. We are called to share these Kingdom stories with those we meet, that they may be amazed and drawn to God’s Kingdom. “Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story.” (Psalms 107:2). (Craig B)
