“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” (Luke 4:18-19) When Jesus read these words in the synagogue, He declared that this Scripture was fulfilled in Him. This was His mission, and now, through His presence in us, it becomes ours too. Today, God calls us to live with that same anointing and purpose. His Spirit rests upon us so we can carry hope into hopeless places. We’re sent to share the good news with the forgotten, to bring freedom to those trapped in fear or sin, and to help others see the light of Christ. Every act of kindness, every word of encouragement, every moment of prayer can bring healing and freedom to someone’s life. Let’s ask our Heavenly Father to fill us again today, to open our eyes to the needs around us, and to make us bold in love. The world is waiting for the light of Jesus, and that light shines through you. (Nicky B) Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Luk4v18-19
