God makes an amazing promise both in the Old Testament and New Testament – if you sow generously, you will reap generously. Many are quick to caution that if you give God lots of your money, you won’t necessarily get back lots of money. True, but you will get much more than that. You see, the wonder of this promise is that it’s not what you sow that you get back but something else which is much better. A farmer doesn’t sow seed in order to reap a harvest of more seed. He sows seeds in order to reap a harvest of grain or corn. He sows that which does not sustain and nourish in order to reap that which does. The same applies to us. We are called to sow generously – be this our money, time, or resources. Money, time, and resources don’t sustain and nourish us. If they did, then the wealthiest would be the most fulfilled. Rather, it is love, joy, and peace that truly sustain and nourish us. But this harvest can’t be bought, but God, who gives the increase, can cause it to grow in our lives (1 Corinthians 3:7). Do you want love, joy and peace in your life? Sow your seeds – your money, time, and resources – generously! Open Bible – https://bit.ly/2Co9v6, https://bit.ly/1Co3v7
