God’s temple has always been the place where heaven and earth meet – where people encounter the generosity and presence of God. In the Old Testament, His people travelled to Jerusalem three times a year to experience His presence, blessing, and forgiveness in the Temple. But through Jesus, God has given us something far greater. He no longer dwells in a building made with human hands – He chooses to dwell in every heart that seeks Him. “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?” (1 Corinthians 6:19). Pause and take that in: your body is the temple of God. Your life is now the place where heaven and earth meet. You are where His generosity is poured out. Through the Holy Spirit, we can experience His love, power, forgiveness, and holy presence every single day – and be continually transformed into His image and glory.
