This is Kingdom living

This is Kingdom living

While listening to my daily Bible readings, I was struck by Paul’s words in Romans 14 and 15 about what Kingdom life is really about. Paul says, “The Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. If you serve Christ with this attitude, you will please God, and others will approve of you too.” (Romans 14:17-18). Living the Kingdom life each day pleases God and blesses the people around us. But God doesn’t ask us to live this way on our own, He fills us with what we need. “I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in Him, so you will overflow with confident hope through the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13). And He even gives us the gift of righteousness so we can live in victory: “God’s grace and His gift of righteousness… enable us to triumph over sin and death through Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:17). This is Kingdom living – God’s gift from start to finish. (Nicky B) Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Rom14v17-18, https://bit.ly/Rom15v13, https://bit.ly/Rom15v17
