Seeking God

Seeking God

Many of us fall into a treadmill rhythm of life – days filled with work, meals, household tasks, a little television, and then bed, the same pattern repeating week after week, year after year. Recently, we had the privilege of hiking one of the most remote stretches of coastline in Southern Africa. On the fourth evening, we gathered on a golden beach to watch the sunset. More than thirty dolphins surfed the waves before us, the sky blazed with colour, and loved ones stood beside me. In that moment I found myself thinking, "This feels like a glimpse of God's Kingdom." That experience did not happen by accident – we had to plan the journey and step into it. How often do we intentionally seek out the beauty God has placed around us? A quiet beach, a mountain path, a river, or a peaceful park can draw our hearts to worship as we encounter His handiwork. Genesis 1:31 tells us, "God saw all that he had made, and it was very good." These moments give us a foretaste of the glorious future awaiting God's children. As 1 Corinthians 2:9 reminds us, God has prepared wonders beyond anything we can imagine. So don't simply live a treadmill life – seek God's beauty and let it awaken your longing for the Kingdom to come. (Nicky B). Open Bible – bit.ly/gen1v31, bit.ly/1Co2v9
