At a baby shower for my daughter and son-in-law, we played a game called Pin the Dummy—similar to Pin the Tail on the Donkey. Blindfolded and spun around, we had to pin the dummy on the baby’s mouth. It seemed simple, but the poor baby ended up with dummies all over its body. Without the blindfold and confusion, it would have been easy. Isn’t this exactly how life is? Finding our way is simple when we can see clearly and aren’t disoriented, but we live in a world where we can’t see. We don’t know what will happen tomorrow, and often, we don’t fully understand what’s happening around us now. This lack of sight causes confusion, and soon, we are making wrong decisions and blindly moving in the wrong direction. Jesus can remove the blindfold—“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12). If life feels confusing and your direction is unclear, invite Jesus in, and He will illuminate your path with divine clarity. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/joh8v12 (Craig B)
