Pick up your iPray

Pick up your iPray

I recently stayed with someone who’s often away from his wife for work. What stood out was how frequently he called her, not just for check ins at the start and end of the day, but constantly. It may be an issue he wants to chat about, or something interesting he has just seen, or a thought he wants to share. It’s not ideal to be apart, but he made sure they were never truly disconnected. It made me reflect on my relationship with God. Is it the same? Or do I just check in once or twice a day with a quick prayer? God doesn’t want a long-distance faith. He wants constant conversation. Not only about needs or problems, but also our ordinary moments, our joys, and our questions. That’s the idea behind Paul’s words: “pray continually” (1 Thessalonians 5:17). It’s an invitation to talk with God in the car, in the kitchen, on a walk, in our thoughts. Prayer isn’t just a ritual, it’s relationship. Today, pick up your iPray and talk to God throughout your day. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/1Th5v17 (Craig B)
