My Forest

My Forest

When the world around us gets too loud, I like to think of the mind like a forest. A great forest should be a space of total calmness, where even if there’s a loud road just outside, you’re at peace in your life. A bad forest is one full of gaps and broken trees where the trials of everyday life can easily overwhelm us. The reality is that it’s how you keep and maintain your forest that determines what it can withstand. The most important reminder of what matters can be found in Colossians 3:2, which states, “Set your mind on things above, not on things that are on earth”. When we let God’s teachings in our forest, our trees will grow from strength to strength. When we allow worldly thoughts in our forest, they quickly make our trees brittle and our leaves wilt. Be active today in deciding what you let into your forest, as only God’s seeds can plant a tree that will last for all eternity. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/col3v2 (Jean-Luc H)
