And 99% of the time, it’s just a hoax fueled by our innate desire to share bad news.  Imagine instead sharing good news in a world so full of bad news. That’s the instruction Jesus gave his disciples just before he ascended into Heaven. “He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” (Mark 16:15). The word “gospel” literally means good news. But what is the good news? We find out when we see Philip sharing – “But when they believed Philip as he proclaimed the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.” (Acts 8:12). The good news is that God has promised to set up his kingdom where righteousness and peace prevail, and sin and even death are ended. And entry to this kingdom has been made possible through Jesus and his sacrifice for us (Acts 4:11-12). That’s an awesome hope with an awesome entry. That’s good news! Share this!
