“My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “Lord, I am coming” (Psalm 27:8). What beautiful words to hear first thing in the morning! As you read them, may your heart respond to this beautiful invitation – “Come and talk with me.” The God and Creator of the universe wants to talk with you. The infinite, all-powerful Sovereign is waiting, ready for a conversation. What better invitation to start your day? How will you respond? Perhaps you feel a bit rushed or distracted, even as you read this. Your mind may already be occupied with the tasks and worries of the day. Yet, He is still waiting—if you have the time.
