Choose your top 3 from this list – Sushi, BMW, Burger, Switzerland, Jeep, Skiing, Xbox, Cycling, Botswana, iPhone. Did you make a choice? It’s not easy when the list is long and all mixed up. Decisions are something we are all faced with every day. Cognitive scientists have discovered that the more options we have to choose from, the more we are unable to choose. This is why fast food restaurants have fewer options and often package them to make choosing quick and easy. However, our most important life decision only has two options – “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!” (Deuteronomy 30:19). Do you choose to have God in your life or not? Despite only two options, we are warned that in the last days, there will be “Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision!
