The missed game

The missed game

A Champions League football final! What are the chances I would be in the same city at the same time? My excitement grows as a lifelong dream seems to be coming true, and then boom, tickets sold out before I could even picture seeing my favourite players kick the ball about. The lesson is sometimes life doesn’t always plan out the way you want it to. You may not get the job, the car, the experience, or the thing you thought you would. The beauty in that is if God gave you the path you wanted, you would not have anything you’ve attained on the path he kept you on. Just like God said about his plans in Jeremiah 29:11. They are “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you”. That is a promise he makes to us every day when we do not understand the path we may be on. Even when things may be confusing, you must believe it is in your best interest as decided by our Lord himself. In the end, the match turned out to be one of the more boring games of football I’ve watched. However, I’ll never forget the amazing experience of watching it with the company I was with. Thank you, God, for always steering us in the right direction. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/jer29v11 (JL H)
