Unchanging

Unchanging

One of the most important attributes of a car is reliability. There is nothing worse than a car that lets you down, especially when you are really relying on it. The same can be said for people too. However, like cars, people do sometimes let us down. Even friends or family who may have been a constant support or example one day change and disappoint us. And, of course, we, too, can be like this. But, imagine if you had a friend who never changed, was always reliable, and never let you down…ever. In a world where everything is shifting, from “What is truth?” to “What is gender?”, from “What is real?” to “What is AI?”, we desperately need someone unchanging to hold onto. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8). These ten words are all we need to hold onto. Jesus never changes…ever. We can rely on him regardless of what is happening in the world around us, regardless of the swirling changes in our lives. He is a constant – he is our peace, our joy. So today, if you feel overwhelmed, disappointed, alone, or afraid, talk to Jesus. “What a friend we have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear! What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer!” Open Bible – https://bit.ly/heb13v8
